NCOACareerExpos.org Privacy Policy Statement

NCOACareerExpos.org is committed to protecting the privacy of its clients, including employers, schools, transitioning U.S. Military, Veterans, Guard and Reserve members, and military spouses who are registered users of the NCOACareerExpos.org website (hereinafter “Clients” or “Client.”) We encourage all potential Clients to review the Privacy Policy before registering on the NCOACareerExpos.org site. Since NCOACareerExpos.org is an internet based online resume database for the military market, the information posted by our Clients is for the sole use of individuals making a career change and employers, recruiters, and human resource personnel who are provided access to the database by NCOACareerExpos.org. Private information given to NCOACareerExpos.org is not for sale to third parties or persons for reasons other than expressly identified in this statement.

Collection of Personal Information and Security

NCOACareerExpos.org collects resumes from the military community on a voluntary basis, both online and at its Military Career Expos hosted nationwide. Resumes collected at the Military Career Expos only are shared with our partner, Corporate Gray.  Full disclosure is made of this policy to Military Career Expo attendees.  Please visit the Corporate Gray website to view their Privacy Policy (www.corporategray.com).

NCOACareerExpos.org takes all precautions to ensure that access to this database is granted only to paying employers, recruiters, hiring managers, and human resource professionals.  However, NCOACareerExpos.org cannot guarantee that unauthorized parties will not, without our consent, gain access to this database. Clients may remove their resumes or contact information from our searchable database at any time. Clients should keep in mind employers and recruiters who have access to the database, and unauthorized parties who have otherwise gained access to the database, may have retained a copy of your resume and/or contact information in their own files or databases. NCOACareerExpos.org is not responsible for such retention, use, or privacy of resumes in those circumstances, nor for the use or privacy of resumes by any such parties while resumes are in another database.

As a registered Client of NCOACareerExpos.org, you agree that NCOACareerExpos.org may use your personal information to contact you and send you e-mail with information that is targeted to you and your interests (such as job alerts,  Career Expo notifications, site updates, e-newsletters, and special offers from our partners.)  By registering as a Client, you agree to receive this information.   

How We Use the Information

NCOACAreerExpos.org does not sell Client names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, addresses or personal demographic information to mass marketers or mailing list distributors. Except as described in this Privacy Policy, we do not disclose information about your individual visits to NCOACareerExpos.org, or any of the information referenced above, to any outside parties, except where we believe it is required by law or to protect NCOACareerExpos.org. We do share information with our Client companies who utilize our service to place candidates into specific job positions.

Refer a friend

On certain pages at our site, Clients may elect to electronically forward a job listing to a friend by clicking a link adjacent to the specific job listing. The user must provide two email addresses: one for the user and one for the friend. This information is used only to let the recipient know who sent the job listing.  

Statistical Data and Reports

We collect statistical information such as page views on an aggregated basis. Such information allows us to find out what areas Clients visit most frequently and what services Clients access the most. We may share this information with our partners and employer Clients, but only in the aggregate, so that they too may understand how our visitors use the site.

Feedback

NCOACareerExpos.org has an area on the site where you can submit feedback. Any feedback that is submitted through this area becomes the property of NCOACareerExpos.org. We may use this feedback, such as success stories or testimonials, for marketing purposes, or to contact you for further feedback on the site.

The NCOACareerExpos.org site may contain links to other sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites. We do not control cookies from other outside sites.

Guidelines for Children

The NCOACareerExpos.org Web site is for the use of experienced job seekers and is not intended for the use of children. Children should seek their parents' consent before giving out personal information and accessing the internet.
